What are the SNP doing to support people who suffer from chronic pain?
The SNP are committed to improving the lives of the thousands of people right across Scotland who suffer from chronic pain.
A Ministerial Steering Group on Chronic Pain was set up in 2014 and is chaired by the Minister for Public Health and Sport. The group provides leadership and direction to support improvement in NHS Scotland’s chronic pain services, including the establishment of the Scottish National Chronic Pain Management Programme. The Programme has been up and running at Gartnaval campus since November 2015.
