Graeme Dey

Angus South

Graeme Dey is the SNP MSP for Angus South Constituency. He was born and raised in Aberdeen, attending Greenfern Infants school followed by Springhill and Broomhill primaries and Harlaw Academy. He left the Granite City for Dundee in 1985 to pursue his career in journalism, moving to Angus five years later. He is married with two grown up children.

Graeme was elected to serve as the Member of the Scottish Parliament for Angus South Constituency in 2011 and 2016.

He was the Depute Convenor of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee in the last Parliament (2011-2016) and was the Convenor of the Parliament’s Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee from 2016 to 2018.

Graeme is now also the Minister for Parliamentary Business and Veterans in the Scottish Government.
