John Mason

John Mason was brought up in Rutherglen and is a CA.
He has worked as an accountant for a nursing home company in Lanarkshire, housing associations in Glasgow, a charity in London, and an NGO in Nepal.
He was first elected for the SNP as a councillor in 1998, then as an MP in 2008, and now as an MSP in 2011. He lives in Barlanark which is within the constituency.
He is happily single, a member of Easterhouse Baptist Church, and supports Clyde FC.
